Solara - EC errorUpdated a month ago
If your sauna's control panel is displaying an EC error code, this indicates that the temperature cable is either loose or disconnected. This can occasionally happen if a wire becomes loose during transit.
Please check if the control box at the top panel has any loose wires, especially the cables that go to the back of the control panel.
Below is a step-by-step guide on how to check the connections and replace the control panel wires if necessary.
Step-by-Step Troubleshooting Guide
Please follow these steps to check the connections and resolve the EC error:
- Remove the front cover of the control panel.
It is recommended that you use a small flathead screwdriver to remove the front cover. Be careful not to pull the entire control unit out of the wall by stripping the screws from the wood!
- Unscrew the four screws holding the controller to the wall.

- Identify the broken cable and unplug it from the controller.

- Go to the top part of the Sauna.
Unplug the broken cable (if applicable) and replace it with a new, working cable. Plug it into the designated port.
- Plug the new cable back into the control panel.
Test to see if the sauna turns on using the ON button on the controller. - If it works, put the control panel back together.
