SaunaBox Warranty Policy
At SaunaBox, we are committed to ensuring the highest quality and customer satisfaction with our products. We stand behind the craftsmanship and reliability of our saunas and devices.
Below is a detailed breakdown of our warranty coverage by product category. All warranties are applicable only to the original purchaser or owner, and the warranty period begins on the date of receipt of the goods.
Solara Infrared Sauna
The Solara infrared sauna comes with a limited 2-year warranty.
- What is covered: Infrared heaters, controls, audio system, and wooden cabinetry. This encompasses replacement parts found to have manufacturing-related defects as a result of workmanship or materials.
- What is not covered: Minor scratches, dents, markings, and scuffs that do not affect the sauna’s operational ability. The glass door is excluded. Service or labor costs are not covered.
- Important notes: As with any wooden furniture, hemlock wood will respond to climate conditions. Fine cracks or color variations caused by moisture changes do not affect the sauna’s integrity and are not covered. The customer is responsible for freight charges for replacement components shipped after 30 days from receipt of goods.
Pulse Portable Infrared Sauna
The Pulse portable infrared sauna comes with a limited 1-year warranty.
- What is covered: Infrared heating panels, controls, zippers, and structural materials.
- What is not covered: Minor scratches, markings, or cosmetic blemishes. Slight creasing, stitching variation, or color changes due to use, folding, or environmental factors. Fabric covers subject to normal wear are excluded. Service or labor costs are not covered.
- Important notes: The customer is responsible for freight charges for replacement components shipped after 30 days from receipt of goods.
SmartSteam Models & Cold Plunge
Our portable steam saunas and cold plunge tubs come with a comprehensive 1-year warranty.
- What is covered: Manufacturing defects and technical malfunctions for the SmartSteam unit, heat-insulated frame cover, fiberglass frame, bottom sweat mat, and chair.
- What is not covered: Damages resulting from normal wear and tear, misuse, accidental damage, alterations, or unauthorized repairs.
Red Light Devices and Accessories
Our red light devices and accessories come with a comprehensive 1-year warranty.
- What is covered: Manufacturing defects and technical malfunctions.
- What is not covered: Damages resulting from normal wear and tear, misuse, accidental damage, alterations, or unauthorized repairs.
General Warranty Exclusions
Across all products, the warranty will become void if:
- The product is altered in any way, exposed to water (where not applicable), used outdoors (unless specified), or misused.
- The customer does not strictly follow the instructional manual provided with the product.
- Issues are caused by neglect, improper operation, improper installation, or maintenance that does not follow the provided instructions.
Transit Damage & Shipping Protection
While our products are shipped carefully, slight blemishes or scuffs may occur during transit.
- Filing a transit claim: Warranty claims for transit damage must be submitted within 7 days of delivery.
- Shipping Protection: We offer Shipping Protection on all orders to ensure your purchase arrives safely. If Shipping Protection is not added to your order, we will still assist with replacements for items damaged in transit; however, the customer will be responsible for a replacement shipping fee of $25–$500, depending on the weight and size of the replacement part.
For orders covered with our Shipping protection, we’ve partnered with Route—a package protection and tracking solution—to give our customers the best possible delivery experience. Route provides low-cost shipping protection to protect your package in the event that it gets lost, stolen, or damaged while in transit.
Route is also a mobile app that allows you to visually track all of your online orders in one place. No need to dig through your email for tracking numbers. Route’s dynamic maps and real-time shipping updates keep you in the loop throughout every part of your delivery. The Route app is available on Android and Apple app stores.

How to Initiate a Warranty Claim
To make a warranty claim, you must provide proof of purchase and notify us within the applicable warranty period.
Please contact our customer support team at [email protected] to initiate the claim process. If a covered component is found to have a manufacturing defect, we will replace the affected part, at our discretion, free of charge.
