How to Adjust the Temperature on Your SaunaBox SolaraUpdated a day ago

Your SaunaBox Solara comes standard with adjustable temperatures from 77°F to 149°F. If you prefer a hotter sauna experience, you can unlock an extended temperature setting that increases the maximum temperature to 158°F by pressing and holding the + and – TIME buttons for 8 seconds.

The higher temperature setting is completely optional and is designed for users who prefer more intense heat. If you’re comfortable with the standard temperature range, no adjustment is needed.

Setting your temperature

Use the + and – TEMP buttons on the control panel to select any temperature between 77°F and 149°F. Pick the level that fits your session: lower for relaxation, higher for detoxification or performance recovery. The system is designed to deliver consistent warmth without localized hot spots. You can increase the maximum temperature to 158°F by pressing and holding the + and – TIME buttons for 8 seconds.

Because the Solara uses radiant infrared heat that penetrates the skin directly rather than heating the air around you, it works effectively at lower ambient temperatures than a traditional sauna (typically 110–150°F versus 170–200°F). A setting that reads lower than you expect is still delivering a full session.

Adjust your maximum temp to 158°F

Want it hotter? Follow these four steps:

  1. Turn the sauna on.
  2. On the control panel, press and hold the + and – TIME buttons at the same time.
  3. Keep holding for about 8 seconds.
  4. The display will change to show 158°F. Your sauna can now be set anywhere up to 158°F.

If the display does not change

Make sure the sauna is powered on, then press both TIME buttons at the same moment and hold without releasing. Letting go early, or pressing one button slightly before the other, will keep the panel on the standard 149°F ceiling. Try again and hold the full 8 seconds.

Do I Need to Use the 158°F Setting?

No. The extended temperature range is completely optional.

Many users may prefer to operate their Solara at lower temperatures. Higher temperatures do not necessarily provide greater benefits, and you should never increase the temperature beyond a level that feels comfortable and appropriate for you.

Your body's response to heat can vary from session to session. Always pay attention to how you feel rather than attempting to reach a particular temperature or session length.
