How does infrared differ from traditional sauna heat?
Traditional saunas operate by heating the surrounding air, which subsequently warms the body indirectly. In contrast, the Solara utilizes infrared heating panels to emit radiant heat that directly penetrates the skin and underlying tissues, raising the core body temperature more efficiently.
This form of radiant heat operates at lower ambient temperatures (typically 110–150°F compared to 170–200°F in traditional saunas). This lower temperature can enhance circulatory, thermoregulatory, and cellular responses while placing significantly less strain on the cardiovascular system.
What is Full-Spectrum Infrared Therapy?
The Solara delivers near, mid, and far-infrared wavelengths. These three wavelengths work synergistically to promote circulation, stimulate detoxification, and support cellular recovery.
How hot does it get?
The Solara go up to 158°F, with adjustable heat levels from 77°F to 158°F, so you can select the ideal temperature for relaxation, detoxification, or performance recovery. The system is designed to deliver consistent warmth without localized hot spots.
To set your Solara to its 158°F max:
- Turn the sauna on.
- On the control panel, press and hold the + and – TIME buttons at the same time (the pair to the right of TEMP, under the timer display).
- Keep holding for about 8 seconds.
- The display will change to show 158°F. Your sauna can now be set anywhere up to 158°F.

How difficult is the setup process?
Assembly is straightforward and can be completed in under 30 minutes without the need for specialized tools or technical expertise.
The sauna arrives pre-assembled into four main panels: the front, back, and two side walls. These panels feature pre-installed locking clips that allow the structure to snap together securely without drills or screws.
What are the dimensions and weight capacity?
The Solara is designed as a 1-person sauna, optimized to fit into smaller spaces while maintaining high performance.

Does it require a special power outlet?
No electrician is required for installation. The Solara is designed for plug-and-play operation and connects directly to any standard 110V household outlet (1600W, 50/60Hz).
What is the estimated electricity cost?
The Solara is highly energy efficient. A typical 60-minute session costs approximately $0.25 in electricity in most U.S. regions, providing full-spectrum heating without the high energy consumption associated with traditional saunas.
Does it have built-in audio?
Yes, the Solara has a built-in audio system with Bluetooth and radio, so you can play guided meditations, wellness playlists, podcasts, or your favorite station during a session.
- Radio: press the music (♫) button on the control panel. The red wire is the radio antenna. Leave it unattached and position it where it gets the clearest signal.
- Bluetooth: press the music (♫) button twice, until the Bluetooth light comes on. Then connect from your phone's Bluetooth settings.
Is it non-toxic?
Yes. The Solara has been independently tested by Intertek and certified compliant with California Proposition 65. Every component—including plastics, metals, wiring, and structural materials—was screened for toxic heavy metals and harmful phthalates, and all components passed the screening.
Does it come with a warranty?
